covid-19 safety protocols
In order to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff, and doctors, we have implemented new safety procedures to reduce the risk of infection and transmission of COVID-19. These procedures include the following:
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: We ask that all patients call, text, or e-mail us to schedule an appointment before coming into the office in order to reduce the number of patients in the office at one time and to help maintain social distancing.
PRE-REGISTRATION: For new patients, we will provide you with a secured link so that you can fill out your registration and disclosure forms digitally before your appointment. You can do this on your computer or smart phone. There will be no need to print out forms.
CHECKING IN: Please call or text us when you arrive for your appointment so that we can get you checked in before you come into the office.
PRECAUTIONS: We ask that you bring a properly fitting face mask that covers your nose and mouth when you come into the office. If you do not have one, we are happy to provide one for you at no charge. We will also take your temperature when you arrive. We ask that patients not be accompanied by more than one family member or caregiver, only if necessary for translating or helping during the course of the visit.
DISINFECTING: We will continue to disinfect all instruments between patients as well as all surfaces and high-traffic areas within the office multiple times per day. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the office.
RE-SCHEDULING: We will have to re-schedule appointments if any of the following apply:
1) Exposure to a positive COVID-19 patient within the last 4 weeks
2) Symptomatic, including cough, shortness of breath, body aches, weakness or fatigue, sore throat , and/or diarrhea
3) Fever, defined as a temperature of 100 degrees F, or higher
